THE CONCEPT

The Faros Project is inspired by a ‘Back to Basics’ concept that we developed in response to the shifting context of the world and its needs: to be closer to nature, to nurture family and connections, and prioritize our wellbeing. An organic extension of the existing settlement, The Faros Project’s masterplan is characterized by a typology of small, standalone volumes that can work individually or be combined into a house or function as a complex — offering a high quality of flexible living for their residents. Continuing the thread of good quality local architecture and taking it into the future, our design concepts are defined by two strategies: stone terraces with white pavilions that incorporate the xerolithies; and Sifnos-style farmhouses. All our designs strive to minimize their impact on the local environment by integrating seamlessly into the landscape, utilizing the natural elements and using local materials.
